Guidelines for clients
-
You will need to tell me in advance if you are pregnant
or if you have recently undergone a major medical procedure, for example
surgery or radiotherapy.
-
If applicable, bring details of current medical diagnosis
and any medication you may be taking.
-
It is best not to eat heavy meals or drink alcohol on the
day of treatment. Have a light meal at least one hour before your session.
-
Shiatsu is received lying on a comfortable mat on the
floor, and loose (preferable cotton) clothing is the best thing to wear.
-
You do not need to be ill to benefit from receiving
Shiatsu. Even if you are healthy, you will enjoy the relaxation and
vitalisation that a Shiatsu session offers.
